I'm done!! After months of hard reading I'm finally done with this. And I'm glad that I read this because it was so different. I was expecting another thriller with the same questions of every thriller, like "who's the muderer? Why did he/she do it?". But this book is not like the other thrillers, this book is so original! I mean, we know who the murderers are since the first pages, we know what is the reason of the crime. So the excitement comes with the character descriptions and development. You can understand the murderers minds like they are real people like you. You can feel the loss of the people who knew the victims. You can feel the atmosphere of the town where it was done.
The story itself is plain and simple, with no surprises. The thing is how is it written, in this periodistic way that I loved. Although I spent months reading this book, I enjoyed every single page and I wish someday I will read it again in spanish and enjoy it even more. Truman Capote is such a good writer, I can't wait to read Breakfast at Tiffany's and other novels by him!
