El día que se perdio la cordura was a bit of a letdown. While it had moments of suspense, it lacked memorable characters and had a convoluted plot that jumped from place to place, making it difficult to follow. I picked it up at a bookstore as an easy-to-read Spanish thriller to help keep my mind sharp, but even from a stylistic point of view, it was lacking. The imagery was weak and the vocabulary wasn't very deep. Much of the book was dialogue, but since the characters were all native English speakers, the dialogue was translated into Spanish, making it feel like the book was a translation of itself.

While the book had its moments of suspense, the overall plot felt improbable and confusing. It jumped between different places like Boston, Salt Lake, and Quebec, and then intermingled the different plotlines, making it difficult to keep track of what was going on. This made the twists and turns even more indecipherable. Even when I tried to read it as a learning experience, I found myself wanting more.

All in all, this book was a bit of a disappointment. While it had its moments of suspense, it lacked memorable characters and had an implausible and confusing plot. The imagery was weak and the vocabulary was lacking. The dialogue was also translated from English to Spanish, making it feel like a translation of itself. If you're looking for an exciting thriller, you'll be better off looking elsewhere.

El día que se perdio la cordura fue un poco decepcionante. Si bien tenía momentos de suspenso, carecía de personajes memorables y tenía una trama intrincada que saltaba de un lugar a otro, lo que dificultaba su seguimiento. Lo compré en una librería como un thriller en español fácil de leer para ayudar a mantener mi mente aguda, pero incluso desde el punto de vista estilístico, faltaba. Las imágenes eran débiles y el vocabulario no era muy profundo. Gran parte del libro era diálogo, pero dado que los personajes eran hablantes nativos de inglés, el diálogo se tradujo al español, dando la sensación de que el libro era una traducción de sí mismo.
