《ESPAÑOL》
Raspando. Hubo momentos en los que sentí que el estilo de escritura era hermoso, que la historia era bella y triste, cargada de nostalgia, ingeniosa, una obra de arte que trascendía mi entendimiento. Pero en ciertas partes del libro ciertamente parecía basura cósmica. Literalmente, hubo un momento en el que Elio quiere ver la caca de Oliver, y que Oliver vea la suya, para que no haya ningún secreto entre ellos (?). ¡Oliver incluso le masajea la panza mientras defeca!
Tuvo un inicio muy lento, no terminó de gustarme el modo en que está relatado, siempre recordando el pasado, tal vez se deba a que no estoy acostumbrado, pero me pareció excesivo que toda la obra esté relatada así. Y Elio, si bien es un protagonista agradable, por momentos se tornó excesivamente necesitado, angustiado, me ahogaba.
El final me pareció algo desabrido, después de las fuertes emociones que plasma el autor en los primeras 3/4 partes del libro. Creo que fue muy acertado terminar la película donde lo hicieron.
Este es uno de los pocos casos en los que Película > Libro.

《ENGLISH》
Barely. There were times when I felt that the writing style was beautiful, that the story was pretty and sad, full of nostalgia, witty, a work of art that transcended my understanding. But in certain parts of the book it definitely seemed like cosmic garbage. Literally, there was a scene when Elio wants to see Oliver's poop, and Oliver to see his, so there's no more secrets between them (?). Oliver even massages his tummy while he defecates!
It had a very slow start, I didn't like the way the story was told, always remembering the past, maybe it's because I'm not used to it, but I thought it was excessive that the whole novel is written that way. And Elio, although he is a nice main character, at times he became excessively needy, anguished, I felt suffocated.
I found the ending somewhat bland, after the strong emotions that the author transmitted in the first 3/4 parts of the book. I think it was wise to finish the movie where they did.
