I must tell you, I have no idea what to think about this book 😅 It was so strange, Roland is an intriguing, morally ambiguous character. The lands through which he travels are so alien, post-apocalyptic, its people degenerated, merely a shadow of civilization remains. ❦ He is hunting the mysterious Man in Black, a sorcerer of some sort, and it has something to do with Roland's past, and the doom of his people. During his travels he meets Jake, a young boy from another land, or time, I can't tell, who joins him. The boy will play an important part in this book. There's magic, there's history, there's science, all entwined in the plot, and it's hard to be certain, but I think this happens hundreds, maybe thousands of years in the future. ❦ I know this isn't much of a review, but I just finished the book and my head's a mess 😆 but there's something I can tell you for sure, I will keep reading this series, because I didn't read a 200 pages prologue for nothing 😂 ❦ ❦ Les soy sincero, no tengo ni idea de qué pensar sobre este libro 😅 Fue tan raro, Roland es un personaje intrigante y moralmente ambiguo. Las tierras por las que viaja son tan extrañas, post-apocalípticas, su gente degenerada, sólo queda una sombra de civilización. ❦ Está detrás del misterioso Hombre de Negro, un hechicero de algún tipo, y tiene algo que ver con el pasado de Roland y el final de su gente. Durante sus viajes conoce a Jake, un joven de otra tierra, u otro tiempo, no puedo estar seguro, que se une a él. El niño jugará un papel importante en este libro. Hay magia, hay historia, hay ciencia, todo entrelazado en la trama, y es difícil estar seguro, pero creo que esto sucede cientos, tal vez miles de años en el futuro. ❦ Sé que como reseña no es la gran cosa, pero acabo de terminar el libro y mi cabeza es un lío 😆 pero hay algo que puedo decirles con seguridad, voy a continuar leyendo esta saga, porque no leí un prólogo de 200 páginas para nada 😂 Enlace: https://www.instagram.com/p/.. |
