** spoiler alert **
I... I just don't know where to start talking about this wonder, I truly don't...
Even before starting this book I was well aware I was going to get into such a suffering I didn't know I would get through. Obviously I did it tho...
I would have loved to see Manon and Dorian finally together and ruling their kingdoms together, but not everything must be perfect for this book to be such a wonder as it is. I am happy with the ending, truly happy. I've loved Yrene since the moment I met her on Tower of Dawn, and haven't stoped loving her since then, and on this part of the story she has proved to be more than I've ever expected she to be, getting Erawan down as she did, I... I have run out of words to describe what I felt while reading that, how happy I was to see Dorian and Chaol together again, as what they really are: brothers. Seeing Chaol is becoming a father, that Aedion and Lysandra are getting married and that Lorcan and Elide are as well are some of the facts that left me wordless, such happiness in those final pages... ❤️
I mean, the beginning of the story was quite hard to read such a suffering from all of them, but it was worthy, all of it, since that suffering led them to where they ended, and as I may have ended some of it, I wouldn't have changed the way in which this story is written, not a bit of it.
One of my best readings of 2018, for sure, without a kernel of doubt.
